Battlefield 6 set to launch in holiday 2021

Please don't leave us "hanging" with game updates again

Early today during the EA second quarter fiscal 2021 earnings call was revealed that the next entry in the popular Battlefield franchise will be coming out in 2021. This is no surprise to the fans since the terrible Battlefield V,  Live Service Support ended many months ago leaving fans hanging with no new content or support planned by the studio.

EA commented that the next Battlefield game will feature a never-before-seen scale whether that means more players on the servers or bigger explosions we don’t know.

DICE is creating our next Battlefield game with never-before-seen scale. The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver on a true next-gen vision for the franchise. We have hands-on play testing underway internally, and the team’s been getting very positive feedback on the game as we’ve begun to engage our community.

The next Battlefield is set to launch in holiday 2021, and we are excited to share a lot more about the game in the spring.

So there you have it folks, we are ready to be disappointed again (I mean let’s hope not right) but it is hard to trust DICE / EA after their terrible Battlefield V launch and even worse live service support.

Stay tuned for more news on Battlefield 6 here on HypedPixels.
